A client approached us to design and build an electric horseless carriage system. The carriage is equipped with a powerful 10Kw motor and a single-speed gearbox, delivering 1200 ft-lbs of torque at the wheels. With a top speed of 12 mph and a comfortable cruising speed of 5 mph, this electric carriage offers a leisurely and enjoyable touring experience.
The custom designed LiFePO4 battery pack boasts a substantial 43Kw output, ensuring a full day of uninterrupted touring. Recharging is a accomplished with a 6.6 Kw charge, capable of replenishing the battery pack in less than 7 hours when connected to a standard 240 VAC J172 EV wallbox.
